Gathering Place
A beautiful park located along the river. It was voted USA Today’s Best City Park in 2021. It includes playgrounds, a skate park, basketball courts, a pond and restaurants. It is connected to River Parks which has miles of running and biking trails along the Arkansas River.
Turkey Mountain Urban Wilderness Area
Turkey Mountain holds a special place in our hearts. It’s the site of our engagement. It encompasses over 300 acres of rugged park land but is only a short drive from downtown. It offers miles of dirt trails perfect for hiking or mountain biking.
Philbrook Museum of Art
A lovely art museum located in a historic oil mansion.
Tulsa Zoo
The Tulsa Zoo is a 85-acre non-profit zoo. The zoo is located in Mohawk Park, one of the largest municipal parks in the United States.
Mother Road Market
Mother Road Market is Oklahoma’s first food hall. It is focused on good food and unique retail. It is a nonprofit focused on allowing entrepreneurs the opportunity to test out their latest food and retail concepts.
Cabin Boys Brewery
One of our favorite local breweries. It is located next door to American Solera (Matt’s favorite spot for IPAs and stouts). Marshall Brewing Company is just down the road also.
