Our 2nd date spot! Stephanie loves the Khao Soi Chicken, and Todd usually orders (to no one's suprise) Khao Nam Tod. But the Thai Basil Fried Rice is also great. So is the Curry Chicken + Peanut Sauce Banh Mi. Honestly, you can't go wrong.

Peaks & Pints Tacoma Craft Beer Bar, Bottle Shop & Restaurant

This was the spot for our first date! It was general liking at first sight! Sandwiches and beer are the focus of this bar. They have a bottle shop section, so if you want a sampling of PNW beer, this is the place to go. 21+

Parkway Tavern

Duh. Parkway. Favorite bar in Tacoma, weekly drinks for 10 years running. 21+

The Red Hot

Hot dogs. Beer. What could go wrong?!? 21+

Bar Rosa

New Tacoma spot. Woodfired pizza and tasty cocktails. 21+

Chambers Creek Regional Park

This park is near our wedding venue. They have a pretty extensive trail/path around the park, but it's also an easy walk from the parking lot to the water. Great views! Especially at sunset.

McMenamins Elks Temple

Our first-date anniversary spot! Multiple levels of fun! Each level has a distinct themed bar or two with various food and drink offerings. It's a nice place to get multiple vibes without leaving the building. There's a hidden bar, so be sure to look for that. Main level is family-friendly, everything else is a bar.

Proctor District

Proctor neighborhood has some cute little shops, and good eats. Farmer's Market on Saturdays.

Toast Mi Tacoma

One of the best Banh Mi we've had-- and quite affordable! Good for a quick delicious meal.

Tacoma's Brewery District

We call it "Beer Mountain," but traditionally it's called Brewery District-- the original site of pre-prohibition breweries in Tacoma as early as the late 1880s. It's up a large hill.
