Amy's brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Carmen, moved to Mineral Wells and met Daniel through church. After a few conversations, Andrew passed Amy's facebook info along to Daniel. After a few months of being friends on Facebook, Amy and Daniel finally met on May 29th, 2022, first at Indian Creek Baptist Church Sunday morning service and then again later that evening at Community Group. Daniel asked Amy out for dinner the following night and the rest is history.

Friday, April 21st, 2023 Levi, Amy's oldest, had his opening performance for Descendants. Daniel and his parents came to Mississippi for Opening night. After the performance, our two families went to Bulldog Burger for a late night dinner. Bulldog Burger is where Amy and Daniel went to dinner the first time he came to visit Mississippi. After dinner, both families gathered outside on the patio. While Amy was the last one out of the building and busy talking, Daniel got down on one knee and proposed. Amy was completely surprised and thrilled to share this moment with both their parents and Levi. What a perfect evening!
