Grand Rapids is a great location to fly into. It is roughly 2 hours to Manistee. Turo is a great app to use to get local car rentals (similar to AirBNB) they can even meet you at the airport! The airport also offers car rentals.

Cherry Capitol Airport, Traverse City
Traverse City is about an hour north of Manistee. This is a good option for those looking to fly in closer to Manistee, however flights and rental options may be limited or more expensive.

Manistee Blacker Airport
This is the regional airport located in Manistee. Cape Air flights fly direct to Chicago O'Hare. This is a great option to fly direct into the town and avoid a car rental. However, you will likely have to book separate tickets and be aware that the small flights are often unpredictable and get cancelled. If choosing to fly this please give yourself extra time in case of cancellations.
