Where is the transportation information?
Answer
There will be 2 transportation pick ups: 1. Hampton Inn 2. The Ramsdell Theatre Parking Lot (Downtown Stop) The shuttle will take 2 trips prior to the ceremony starting between 3 and ending at 3:45. Each trip takes roughly 20 minutes. Please take one of the shuttles to arrive on time to the venue. Return trips will happen every 30 minutes to an hour starting 8-11pm

Can I drive if I don't want to take the bus?
Answer
There will be no parking available at the venue. Select spot are reserved for special requests but are limited and must be requested ahead of time. Please utilize the bus transportation system. There is also a local taxi service for drop off.

Are kids allowed?
Answer
Children are allowed but any child under 3yrs will be asked to stay with a sitter at the house during the ceremony. We appreciate your cooperation as we focus to have an undisturbed ceremony. The ceremony will be roughly 30 minutes and all children are welcome to join us at the reception. IMPORTANT: Please be aware that the venue is not child proof! The bluff is roughly a 50ft drop to the beach and IS NOT fenced. There are holes and landscaping equipment around the venue and any children attending are welcomed but must be highly supervised at all times. For peace of mind, we recommend any parents wavering between taking their kids or not to lean towards the side of keeping them at home. This is only because you will not be able to fully relax and enjoy the wedding events since kids will require full supervision. Kids are welcome but please consider how you would like to enjoy the events.

What do I wear?
Answer
This is a backyard wedding but please dress formal. No jeans. The venue is a bluff overlooking the beach so while the beach is nearby it is not accessible to guests. There is a long dirt and gravel driveway to the venue that is all grass. Please wear sensible shoes as there is uneven paths and it is all outdoors.

Is there access to the house?
Answer
There will be no access to the house at the venue or neighboring properties. No exceptions. There will be bathrooms at the venue. The house on the property is a private residents (the Smith's who are the Barry's neighbors). Please respect their property and do not try to enter the house for any circumstances.

Is there beach access?
Answer
Due to erosion issues there is no beach access through the venue. Please respect this. No jumping off the bluff or using the temporary steps. Help us preserve the land and enjoy the views from the bluff.

Where are the transportation pick ups?
Answer
There will be a shuttle running between the venue and 2 accommodation spots between 3 - 11pm. The 2 spots are the Hampton Inn, and the parking lot behind the Ramsdell Theatre for a central downtown Manistee pick up.
