Welcome to our Wedding Website!

Thank you for visiting our wedding website! We are so excited for our big day, and we just cannot wait for it to be here! We hope you enjoy the website we put together with the help of Zola.

How We Met

Tim and I met through my best friend (and bridesmaid) Brittney. She was working at Ace Hardware in Lake Stevens as a cashier where she met Tim, who worked in the yard. She always kept telling me about this really cute guy at work (which is where his nickname "Hunky Tim from Ace Hardware" originated) who was super nice, and she kept telling me how I needed to meet him. I wasn't a huge fan of people trying to set me up, so I didn't think anything of it. One day he popped up on my "People You May Know" list on Facebook, and I thought, hey, why not! So I sent him a friend request. He accepted, and then messaged me telling me that I looked familiar (which Tim now admits I didn't actually look familiar to him, he just wanted to message me, haha!). We started messaging, and then I gave him my cellphone number so we could get to know each other more. A few days later, I went to Ace Hardware to go have lunch with Brittney, and that was the day I saw him for the first time. I was smitten! After meeting him, I couldn't even think straight! I pulled into the gas pump on the wrong side of my car, AND I lost my debit card when Brittney and I went to lunch. I felt like I was walking on air! We had our first date January 29, 2017 at the Strawberry Lanes bowling alley, and then we took my parent's dog, Finn, to Petco to buy him some toys. We hung out a couple more times after that before he asked me to be his girlfriend February 2, 2017. :)

The Proposal

Tim proposed to me November 18th. I was singing that day at church, and Tim didn’t go to church because he told me he was helping his mom move furniture. Church got over and as we all headed outside to our cars to go home, I saw Tim standing outside holding a dozen roses, with his family and my family surrounding us. He came up to me, and had this whole speech about how much he loved me, and how we make each other better, and then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him with a beautiful ring. I (of course) said yes, and now we get to celebrate the beginning of our lives with all of you. ❤️
