Flight

Kahului (OGG)

This is the main airport on Maui and is the one you will want to choose to fly into. It is just a short (15-20 minute) drive from the Kahului Airport to Kihei! There are multiple airlines that fly from the mainland to Maui including, but not limited to: Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, United Airlines and Southwest. We have found them all to be fairly competitive in their prices but as we mentioned before, we highly recommend booking your flight early for the best value!

This list of condos is in no way all inclusive of all the available condos it is just a general idea of some of the places that are near the venue and where we will be staying, so feel free to research more if you would like as there are likely some other great places out there in the South Kihei area! This condo complex is where Tiff and Tom will be staying for the majority of their time on Maui along with Tiff's parents Deb and Dave.

This condo complex is where a few people from our wedding party are staying, including the brides sister Melissa and her family, Taj (groomsman) and his family and Matt (groomsman) and his family. This condo complex is in a great location, close to the beach and close to where Tiff and Tom are staying. Maui Coast Hotel

This is one of the hotels in the area if you prefer a hotel over a condo. It seems really nice and has a great restaurant in it called Ami Ami.

Days Inn Maui Oceanfront

This is one of the few hotels in Kihei. It appears to be the same price as a condo. It could be a good option if you prefer to stay in a hotel over a condo and still be in the Kihei area. There is also a restaurant in it called Sarento's on the Beach, we haven't been there but we have heard it is good.

Rental Car

Multiple Rental Car Companies

There are many rental car companies to choose from at the Kahului Airport with various car types and sizes to fit your needs. We don't really have a recommended rental car company. If you are interested in exploring the island we do recommend renting a car but if you are interested in staying in the Kihei area, going to the beach and walking most places a rental car won't be absolutely necessary.

There is a speedy shuttle that does take you to and from the airport if you choose not to rent a car. It is usually a decent value. Prices vary based on time of day and number of guests needing transportation.

Turtle Tracks Shuttle

This is a neat shuttle with a fun name. It is an open air shuttle that seats up to 5 passengers that runs from 1pm to 9pm. It is all electric and only goes 35 MPH so they only operate in the South Kihei and Wailea areas. It is $4 per person to travel anywhere in their service area and they have a 2 passenger minimum. They have booster seats onboard for kiddos. This is a great option for anyone who chooses not to rent a car and may need relatively inexpensive local transportation! They won't be operating in time for the wedding since it is in the morning but it is a great option for any afternoon or evening transportation. http://www.themauiturtle.com

No Ka Oi Baby Rentals

This a baby/toddler supplies rental company. We have never used it before but they get good reviews and could be a good option if there is something that you need for your kids that may be hard to fly with.
