Flight

JFK, LGA, EWR

LaGuardia (LGA) and Kennedy (JFK) are the best options for both domestic and international air travel. They are both about 40 minutes from our wedding neighborhood by car. Newark (EWR) is also doable but is a bit further (about an hour). Add plenty of extra time for travel to/from airports during rush hour. The airports also have train and/or bus connections to Brooklyn and Manhattan.

Train

Grand Central Station & Pennsylvania Station

If you are arriving to NYC by train, you will most likely arrive at Grand Central Station or Penn Station. Both have taxi stands and easy Uber/Lyft pickups outside, and both are connected to the NYC subway. To get from Grand Central to our wedding neighborhood via subway, take the 4/5 train south (downtown) from Grand Central to Union Square, and then transfer to the "L" train. Take the L into Brooklyn and get off at Bedford Avenue. Our wedding venue is a short walk from the Bedford Avenue station. To get from Penn Station to our wedding neighborhood via subway, take the 2/3 train south (downtown) from Penn to Union Square, and then transfer to the "L" train. Take the L into Brooklyn and get off at Bedford Avenue. Our wedding venue is a short walk from the Bedford Avenue station.

If traveling by car into Williamsburg

If you are traveling by car to our wedding neighborhood, Uber and Lyft are usually the best options, as street parking and garages are limited. If you are driving yourself and cannot find street parking, there is a parking garage at the William Vale hotel (across the street from our wedding venue), and another one two blocks away from there, on Kent Avenue and North 10th Street.

Getting Around NYC

Williamsburg, our wedding neighborhood, is best explored by foot, if you're up for it! Our wedding venue, reserved hotels, welcome drinks and Sunday farewell are all within 2-3 minutes of each other by foot, and all are within walking distance of Williamsburg shopping, bars, restaurants and other attractions. If you are venturing outside Williamsburg, the NYC subway is within walking distance of our wedding neighborhood and is often the easiest way to get between NYC neighborhoods. The Bedford Avenue "L" stop is just minutes away on foot (Bedford Ave and N. 7th Street) and will take you into Manhattan. Take the L train three stops into Manhattan, to the Union Square stop, and you can travel from there to almost anywhere in NYC! If you are not up for a walk or are traveling further, Uber and Lyft are the best ride app options. They are also good options if you are trying to go from Williamsburg to other parts of Brooklyn.
