The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal attire, though boots and hats are encouraged! The venue is a working farm so the grounds may be uneven in places.
September in Missouri is still quite warm with the daily high averaging 80°F and a low of 60°F.
Our entire wedding (and the Welcome Event on Friday night for those coming from outside of Missouri) will take place at Sweet Clover Farm. The ceremony will take place outside with the reception to follow indoors. There is an outdoor bar, dance area, and lawn area to be enjoyed.
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly. Please note, we will be having a bridal shower in Pittsburgh and would love to see you then!
Sweet Clover Farm is located at 1969 Epple Road, Hermann, MO 65041. Of note, Epple Road is not paved and there will be signs directing you to Sweet Clover Farm once you exit the main road.
We recommend that you arrive at the venue 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!
We have a strict guest list to stay within our allotted guests allowed at the venue. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Hermann has many bed and breakfasts, AirBnbs, and motels. For chain hotels, the nearest ones are located in Warrenton and Wentzville. Please visit the travel tab for more information.
We invite you to RSVP online (please use the RSVP tab) by August 1st.
Yes! For our ceremony, we request that pictures are not taken by guests so that out photographer and videographer can capture it uninterrupted. After the ceremony, snap away! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media with our wedding hashtag #BigHappy so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
We invite our out-of-state guests to join us for a welcome dinner on Friday evening and we would love to see everyone at our home on Sunday for those who are local or staying through Monday/leaving late on Sunday. Please check the "schedule" tab for other events!
Yes, there is plenty of parking available on site. The venue's policy states that cars may not be left overnight. All vehicles must be off the site by 11PM.
