Is there a dress code?

Answer

While we recommend semi-formal or cocktail attire, please come in whatever makes you feel confident and beautiful! The ceremony will be outdoors and chairs are partially in the grass, so keep that in mind for shoes with heels.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests can start arriving by 6:30pm. The ceremony starts promptly at 7:00pm.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will have transportation for guests that stay at or near The Pontchartrain. Please indicate on your RSVP if you will be needing transportation so we can prepare accordingly.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking by the Tea Room and Audubon Zoo. For out of town guests, we recommend using ride share apps or our booked transportation.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We prefer that you put your screens away for the ceremony; our photographer will capture the best ceremony shots.

What happens between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Only the best New Orleans tradition--a second line! Our jazz band will lead y'all from the ceremony to the reception, where the Tea Room will have food and drinks ready so we can start the party!

I have a food allergy. Can I make a special request?

Answer

You can either let us know in your RSVP about food allergies or you can text Kaitlyn! We will need to know ASAP.

Can I bring a date or friend?

Answer

We ask that you only bring someone if you are given a "guest" in your RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We'd be delighted if you choose to bring your children; however, we encourage you to use this opportunity as a fun night without kids if you are able! If you plan to bring your kids and they are not on the RSVP or if you need help coordinating childcare in New Orleans, please text Kaitlyn.
