Believe it or not we met on Instagram!!! No romantic or fairy tale encounter. My cousin posted a "Woman Crush Wednesday" photo of me and he inquired "Who is she?" He started following me and of course "Slid in my DM" and "Double Tapped" about ten pictures. My cousin assured me he was a good guy and encouraged me to give it a shot. We later exchanged numbers and I instantly fell in love with his humor. We decided to meet at Hermann Park, we sat by the pond as a gentleman nearby played the saxophone and we talked for hours as if we'd known each other our entire lives. There was an instant connection! That day we shared things with one another that we've never shared with anyone else before, and in that moment I knew he would be my husband.

It was my birthday and I thought we were going to dinner. We arrived at my parents home and as I walked through the door our family and closest friends are there shouting "SURPRISE!" I knew something was up! As the evening went on someone said "Lets play Taboo" which is my favorite game in the entire world! There he is giving clues to his teammates, he gets on one knee and says "what am I doing?" the crowd yells "PROPOSE!" my dad tosses him the ring and I LOSE IT! The music cues and it's Beyonce 1+1! I'm in tears as I wrapped my entire body around his neck, I forget to say Yes... My dad yells, "So is that a yes?!" I reply "HELL YES!" We are overjoyed by the continued love and support!
