The Oakland airport (OAK) is the most convenient, but San Francisco (SFO) is another option that requires just a bit more ground transportation. Northerners/Midwesterners, Southwest has begun non-stop travel from MSP to OAK!

This is where Ryan & Lauren will be staying and we have a block of rooms reserved at a discounted rate of $219/night. We'd love to have everyone out-of-town stay here with us! We have the option to add more rooms!** The hotel is a 18 minute drive to the venue. It is located right above the Downtown Berkeley BART station. We recommend taking BART from the airport to avoid traffic! The Hotel does not have onsite parking. There are two parking garages located within walking distance: 2061 Allston Way Garage (located across the street from The Hotel) 2020 Kittredge St. Garage (located one block away and within 3 minutes walking) Price Range: $$

This hotel is in the heart of Downtown Oakland and is less than a mile away from the wedding venue. This hotel is ideal if you want to be in the mix -- it's walkable to lots of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops so you can explore the town in your free time. Parking is available. The hotel is located right above the 12th Street Oakland BART station. Price Range: $$

This is the fanciest hotel in the East Bay Area and it is lovely. It also boasts a wonderful spa and an unbeatable view of the entire San Francisco bay. It is a 15 minute drive to the museum. Price Range: $$$
Travel Note
Rental cars from the airport or rideshare (Uber/Lyft) are two viable options for getting around town. We also recommend taking the public transit train BART to avoid traffic to/from the airport.
