The weather in Colorado is a fickle thing. It changes sometimes without warning. September in Summit County can be interesting. Usually the days hover between 60-75 depending, and the nights can get down to around 40 degrees. If it rains, it usually isn't for more than 30 minutes. It's usually beautiful outside during the fall.
The ceremony will be in a small amphitheater outside, and the reception will take place inside directly next to the ceremony venue.
You really can't go wrong with any condo building you choose to book. The nice part about River Run Village is that everything is a pretty close walk. In doing some research, we've found that condos in the Black Bear, Jackpine, The Springs, The Timbers or Lone Eagle, or Red Hawk Lodge seem to be the closest locations. When trying to gauge where you want to stay, look for properties closer to the Gondola.
Heck no! We would like anyone and everyone to join us if they want to. Planning a wedding is hard work, so we want to be able to greet all of our visitors in a more personal environment before the wedding! Please come! It’s open house style, and the snacks and food will be provided. Highside also will have drinks available for purchase!
Yes. We love and appreciate alcohol and we know most of our loved ones do as well. Definitely an open bar, please remember cash for any gratuity if you feel so inclined! :)
We would love everyone to come in cocktail attire! The mountains Are a pretty relaxed place, but isn’t it fun to dress up?
This year the weather is changing fast. You can probably expect chillier nights and colder afternoons. The highs are around 50 and the lows around 25-30. Summit county has already started looking at slight snow showers. Plan accordingly :)
