When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP as early as you know whether you are able to attend or not. We'd love to invite more guests as space frees up (and give them plenty of time to commit).

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony so that everyone can embrace this special time. We have hired an incredibly talented photographer to capture the day and we appreciate you giving him the best opportunities for photos. However, the reception is fair game - snap away!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please consider if bringing the little one(s) will allow you to enjoy the event. We want to make sure to give as many people the opportunity to attend and kids are included in our headcount. Obviously, we have some little ones involved in the wedding ceremony, but we want to ensure you can commit to tracking them the whole night!

Is there parking available at Polen Farms?

Yes! You can park directly at Polen Farms.

Is accessibility a concern at Polen Farms?

Answer

Unfortunately, yes. There is a somewhat steep grade on the walkway up to the Barn (where our reception is held), so please bring assistive devices if you need them. Email us to discuss details: thenisongers2023@gmail.com.

Will alcohol be provided at the reception?

Answer

Yes! We intend to provide beer, wine, and two premade cocktail options at the reception (open to all above the legal drinking age). No underage drinking of alcoholic beverages will be tolerated at the facility and could put our event at risk, so please abide by state and city laws in place.

I didn't get a plus one, but can I bring my new hot fling?

Answer

Good for you!! Also, please don't. Please stick to only the names listed on your invitation. We know attending a wedding by yourself might feel intimidating, but we're all here to eat, drink, and have a great time! We have to keep the guest number at its capacity to accommodate all of our friends and family. Thank you for understanding!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please note your food allergy or dietary restriction on the RSVP so that we can plan accordingly! Also, be sure to RSVP as early as possible so that we can accommodate.

Are there designated smoking areas?

Answer

Yes - smoking at Polen Farms is only permitted in the designated smoking area. Cigarette butts (or other disposables) must be placed in ash cans.

After the reception, will we go to any local bars?

Answer

Maybe! We are considering going to the Phone Booth Lounge after the reception has concluded. We have an RSVP on the website to help give the bar a heads up!

What are your colors?

Answer

We are using sage green, dusty blue, and a light navy. Polen Farms has a lovely natural aesthetic between the gazebo and barn!
