The Guthrie Theater, located right next door, has a gorgeous public overlook of the Mississippi river and Northeast neighborhood, stop in for a show if you have time. On Saturday morning check out the Mill City Farmer's Market, located between the two buildings, or maybe even check out Alex's place of work, the American Academy of Neurology.
See the iconic Minneapolis bridge that crosses over the Mississippi River. On one side, explore St. Anthony Main with cobblestone streets and amazing restaurants like Aster Café and Jefe Urban Cocina. On the other side check out the Mill City Museum and Guthrie Theatre.

One of Alex and Brandon's favorite places to visit before Minnesota Wild hockey games. This Italian eatery has it all, a full service bar upstairs, an attached grocery area, and some of the best deserts in the Twin Cities freshly made daily in their café. Stop by for a cannoli and a slice of pizza!
While in the Twin Cities, you'll have to stop by Minneapolis' twin, Saint Paul. The city is about a 15 minute drive from the suggested hotels.
Located just 20 minutes west of Minneapolis, this lake is one of the largest in Minnesota. There's plenty to do around the lake, from looking at the many mansions, stopping in at one of multiple breweries, to the downtown area of Wayzata - Lake Minnetonka has much to offer.
Stop in to Matt's Bar and Grill, home of Minneapolis' famous Jucy Lucy burger, a burger filled with melted cheese. This cozy dive bar has been around since 1954 and had plenty of famous guests, including former President Barack Obama, who stopped by in 2014.
One of Brandon's favorite places to visit growing up! The science museum has rotating exhibits for all ages. One of their old sweatshirt designs even made an appearance in Netflix's Stranger Things as Dustin fought off the dreaded demidogs from the upside down.
This winery is where Brandon surprised Alex with their friends and family after proposing! Nestled in downtown Minneapolis, this gorgeous urban winery is the perfect place to grab a glass of wine and a quick bite while exploring the North Loop area.
