Is there an open bar?

Yes, duh!

Are kids welcome?

No. We have decided to have an adult-only reception.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have buses to/from the reception site from the hotel. When we have finalized this information, a page will be added to the web page titled “Travel/Transportation.” At this time, the bus company is requiring masks when on the buses.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have a hotel block at the Westin Hotel in Wilmington. However, there are other options on the Riverfront in Wilmington that are about 10-15 minutes from the reception site. These include: Hyatt Place- Wilmington Riverfront and Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington Downtown

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! We will be asking for food allergies on the RSVP card in the invitations.

Are there any COVID 19- related issues or restrictions?

Answer

At this time, everything is a go! Our catering staff is vaccinated. And (hopefully) most guests will be too! The reception and cocktail hour will be taking place outside. So there will be plenty of room to socially distance if that makes you feel more comfortable.

How do I get to the reception?

Answer

We are using the Hagley Soda House and Barn address. However, when you enter through the gates of the property, you will see signs for parking. The reception is NOT located at the actual Soda House. Cocktail hour and the reception are taking place on the side and behind the barn.

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

What a great question. So, the grounds of Hagley have many types of terrain and some small hills. We recommend you ladies wear comfortable flats, sandals, or small heels.

Where is the after party?

Answer

Our original spot was going to be the Westin bar at the hotel. But due to COVID restrictions, they now close at 11. We have changed the after party location to Timothy’s Riverfront Bar & Grill. Is it located on the Wilmington Riverfront where the hotel is also located. Hopefully you all can join us!
