Question

Is altitude sickness a real thing?

Answer

YES! The wedding venues sits on top of a mountain at an altitude of 8,948 ft. If possible, try to arrive a day or two early to acclimate, especially if this is your first time at high altitude. Be sure to drink a TON of water to avoid getting sick. Also, Please keep in mind the effects of alcohol are much stronger at high altitude!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We request that you wear semi-formal attire. When planning your outfit, keep in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors; depending on the weather you may want to bring a light jacket! Ladies, wear comfortable shoes with a thick heel.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know if you are planning on bringing your little ones so we can have menu accommodations for them.

Question

Do we have to take the shuttle to the wedding?

Answer

There is parking available at the venue if you choose to drive. However, the venue does not allow cars to stay parked there over night. Also, we want our guests to enjoy the night and do not want them to drink and drive. We encourage you to use the shuttles as the winding roads through the mountains can be difficult to drive on at night and it is the easiest option for you. Please note: Ubers and Lyfts are not offered in the mountains.

Question

What do I pack for a trip to Colorado?

Answer

Colorado has 300 days of sunshine! When the sun is shining, the temperature will be warm even in the Winter. We highly recommend packing layers; cardigans, sweatshirts, light jackets, etc. Also, since the sun can be strong, sunblock may be needed even in September! Compared to the East Coast, Colorado is dry! Lotion and chapstick will be your best friends on this trip and we highly recommend you pack these. If you plan to make a trip west into the mountains during your trip, you may want to pack a heavier jacket, gloves, and a beanie. They may not be necessary, however they will be good to have just incase! Shoes with a good grip will also be necessary for hiking.

Question

When in Colorado, what is there to do?

Answer

The limit does not exist when it comes to activities do to while in Colorado! We have created a great list of restaurants, breweries, hikes, views, etc under the "Things To Do" tab!
