Parking Information

Parking in DC can be difficult to come by, please be aware of parking signs if you are street parking. If you prefer to park at the hotel, it is valet only and is $66 a day. If you prefer a more economical option, there is a parking garage at 1725 DeSales Street, which has 24 hour parking. Other options include 1140 Connecticut Ave, NW and 1730 M Street NW. You can use the Colonial Parking, or PMI website and see other garages nearby on their site as spots in garages might be limited limited. We would recommend looking at SpotHero as well for more parking options. If you choose to park in a garage or valet with the hotel PLEASE do not leave any valuables in your car.

Hotel

The Mayflower Hotel, Autograph Collection

1127 Connecticut Avenue Northwest, Washington, DC 20036
 (202) 347-3000

Although now owned by Marriott, the Mayflower has been operating since 1925 and has hosted inaugural balls, presidential campaigns, and other important events. This is where we will be having our cocktail hour and reception. The Mayflower is in a great location in Dupont Circle and is easily metro accessible (steps away) from the Farragut North metro stop. If you book after 5/31, please visit the Mayflower's website, or call the hotel directly to book your room as our block has closed.

Flight

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

This is probably the easiest airport to fly in and out of in the area. It is on the Metro (Yellow / Blue Line) and has plenty of ride-share options (Uber / Lyft) in the area if you prefer.

Train

DC Metro System

We recommend either taking ride-share or the Metro. It is fast and reliable to get you wherever you need to go in the DC area. In all our recommendations, we have listed the closest Metro stop for ease of transportation. You will find the Metro lines mapped out in the link below! Please make sure you are taking the metro the correct way as the same colored line goes in two different directions.

Flight

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

This is closer to Baltimore, but another option to fly into. To get into DC, you will have to take a Marc Train from BWI to Union Station and then hop on the metro (Red Line) (or ride-share) to get to the Mayflower.

Flight

Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD)

IAD is located in Virginia and is about an hour drive from Downtown DC. You can access DC from the Metro on the Silver Line.

Train

Union Station

You can take the Amtrak from all over the East Coast into Union Station. From here, jump on the Metro Red Line to Shady Grove and get off at the Farragut North stop.

For all the days along the way
