While we do love your kids, this will be an adults only event. The only children present will be those in the bridal party, and those who are in the bride and groom’s immediate family. Those children have already been invited. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us! If you have any questions, please contact Sarah.
The dress code for our wedding is formal attire. Ladies should wear cocktail or full length dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit & tie. We kindly request that ladies do not wear white, cream, or any other similar color traditionally worn by the bride. Bridesmaids will be wearing a dusty rose gown.
Both St. Matthew's and the Mayflower are ADA Accessible. To access the church, please enter what looks like the entrance to the parking garage and you will find the elevator entrance.
After the celebration of the wedding Mass, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby. Guests can head to the reception venue where we will be serving finger foods and beverages for cocktail hour, which begins at 6pm. Dinner and dancing will begin at 7pm
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation says “Name + Guest”, please feel free to bring a guest and let us know their name and food preference on your RSVP.
We have hired a talented professional to capture our day! Although we do appreciate that you might want to snap some pics, we please ask that you honor our ‘unplugged ceremony’. We will be sure to share lots of photos from our special day with you after the wedding! If you would like to take photos or videos after the ceremony, please do!
It would be wonderful if you could please RSVP when you receive your invitation, but we know that is not always the case. Our last day to RSVP is May 1, 2024. Our reception venue requires us to provide a headcount by this date and any unanswered RSVP’s after this will be counted as a “no”. If you RSVP after this date, it will not be counted. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Frank or Sarah!
You should feel free RSVP here on our wedding website. If you have a question if we received your RSVP, please ask Frank or Sarah!
The beginning of the Cookie Table is often debated, but it certainly grew in popularity during the Great Depression. Couples simply couldn't afford a wedding cake, so their close family and friends would bake cookies instead, using favorite family recipes. Recipes were passed down from generations of families and the cookie table became a sweet sensation! Today, the Cookie table is such a strong tradition, the wedding day wouldn't be complete without it! We hope you will join in and bring some of your favorite treats - there will be an option when you RSVP to sign up for the cookie table!
On our website under the "travel" table, you will find the link to our block at the Mayflower. If you prefer, you are welcome to stay at the various other hotels in the area as well! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask Frank or Sarah.
There will be no provided transportation to and from the church and the Mayflower Hotel as they are only a block apart. If you are in need of transportation due to a physical disability, please contact Frank and Sarah for accommodations. We will have our wedding party bus make a stop from the Mayflower to the church and back after the ceremony for those who are in need of assistance, but space is limited.
