What about COVID?

Answer

We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you, but it is also important to us that everyone who is attending feels safe. The reason we switched venues is because we wanted everything to be outside and people to feel comfortable. We realize mixing this many households is a risk, so if you are not at all feeling well (or don't feel comfortable attending a large group event yet) we ask that you refrain from attending. We will do our best to space out seating and will have hand sanitizer stationed throughout the yard. Masks will not be required, but certainly understand if you wish to wear one! *Please wear a mask during the food line and when entering the trolley.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire, Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual encouraged. Everything will be outdoors, so maybe leave those stiletto heels at home. There will be a tent for dining and dancing, but bring an umbrella if it rains.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking will be along the street and across the street in a neighbor's yard. Carpooling is encouraged if possible!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn, in Holland, MI for June 3 and 4, 2021. Please contact either and reference the "Sall/Fik Wedding" and arrival date in order to secure the reservations. These rooms will remain available until May 4, 2021.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a trolley that will run from the hotels (shared parking lot) to the "venue" on the day of the wedding, which is about a 25 minute ride. The trolley is expected to leave from the hotels at 3pm, 4pm, and the last one 5pm - and then will go from the house to hotels again at 930pm, 1030pm, and the last one at 1130pm. - They can accommodate up to 25 guests riding at one time.
