We met back in 2013 at Young Life training at GVSU. Since then, we've had many "acci-dates" - you'll have to ask Jon (or Lindsay) the story of our very first date at Pronto Pups. ;) In 2016, we rang in the New Year with our first kiss. From there, the timing seemed to always be just a little bit off. Jon pursued his dream of through hiking the Appalachian Trail and started his nursing career in Marquette. Lindsay established her photography business and became a dog mom to Millie. Always keeping in some sort of contact, but eventually long distance took its toll. We went for a walk in April 2020 after Jon moved back to Grand Rapids and never stopped hanging out. On October 18, we went for a hike at Ludington State Park where Jon proposed and Lindsay said yes (through many tears!). Our story has mountain top highs, and valley lows, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We are so thankful for everyone who has loved and supported us over the years, and are eager to start our covenant of marriage together as one. We can't wait to celebrate with our people, and hope to have your continued love and support for many many years to come!
