Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Your invitation will be made out to you and, if a guest has been provided to you, their name will also be on the invitation. If someone's name is not on the invitation, it means that, unfortunately, we cannot accommodate them. Please note that if the named guest is unable to attend, we are not allowing any guest substitutions. Only those actually named on the invitation can RSVP for this reason. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

As much as we love your children, all wedding events for the weekend are 21+, so please leave your kids at home!

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

RSVPs are now closed. (Telling us, texting us or emailing us does NOT mean you have RSVP'ed - RSVPs were ONLY through our website. If we did not receive your RSVP through our website by July 1, it was automatically marked as "Unable to Attend." We will miss you celebrating with us, however we have to provide the total guest count to the venue and vendors in the timely manner they have given to us. There will be no exceptions. Thank you for your understanding.)

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

On Saturday night, there will be a rehearsal dinner for the families of the bride and groom, as well as the bridal and groomsmen parties only - this begins at 5pm. After the rehearsal dinner, also on Saturday night, we would like to invite everyone to come and join us so we can have some extra time together! This event begins at 8pm. (Please let us know where you are staying if you intend to attend the rehearsal dinner or the welcome drinks, as we have a party bus that can pick you up and drop you off if you are in the immediate area.) On Sunday we ask that everyone arrive at Wychmere Beach Club BEFORE 4:30pm as to not interrupt the wedding ceremony, which begins promptly at 4:30pm. However, please do not arrive on property prior to 4pm. On Monday you can come by the brunch any time between 9am and 12pm to grab some food and give us hugs before you head out!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The rehearsal dinner (invite only) is formal attire. Welcome Drinks is also formal attire. Men are encouraged to wear suits (no tie necessary), and women are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses or long dresses. The wedding (ceremony and reception) is black-tie. Men should wear black tuxedos, and women should wear floor-length gowns. The celebratory brunch is casual attire. *Please do not wear white, ivory, or other colors typically reserved for the bride throughout the entire wedding weekend. The only exception to this is tuxedo shirts. This rule includes patterns that have white in them - please skip these altogether. Please also kindly avoid white shoes, purses or other accessories.*

Question

What should I bring?

Answer

Yourself, and your license! The bar has the authority to check IDs. Please do not bring any guests with you that did not RSVP. All RSVP's are made on our website. In the event of inclement weather, you do not need to bring an umbrella - if necessary, these will be provided.

Question

How do I get around?

Answer

There is parking at each location for each event (rehearsal dinner, wedding, celebratory brunch). You can also use Uber or Lyft! We also have a party bus for certain hotels (Tern Inn, Winstead Inn & Beach Resort, Wychmere Beach Club) for the Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Drinks that will be doing pickups and dropoffs until 11:30pm. Please visit our "Travel" page for the schedule and more information.
