Madi & Jared met on a dating app called "the League" - Jared's bio was "can crack and serve a lobster in under a minute" and Madi's profile picture was her in a "Jewnicorn" sweater! It's safe to say that it was two swipes right! Jared's first message to Madi was "if you were a type of cheese, what would you be?" and her response was "pepper jack, because I'm spicy!" and, clearly, they were the perfect match.

Every year Jared & Madi take a trip to Montreal, but this year Jared had a special surprise in store! Madi had been excited to get engaged, but had not a single clue that it would happen in Canada as Jared knew that she wanted family there for the special moment, and the whole family (in her mind) "could never all be in Canada." So, Madi & Jared had a nice couples trip, going to their favorite restaurants and spa. On Sunday before brunch, Jared asked Madi if she wanted to go take pictures up on the rooftop (they were staying at this amazing hotel, where the rooftop terrace was overlooking the water) - her answer was obviously a yes! So, he took her to the rooftop, and her favorite song came on over the speakers - they were the only two up there. They turned the corner and there were roses and champagne waiting - Madi could not have been more surprised! He got down on one knee overlooking the water, asked her to marry him, and after she said yes, both families came out to celebrate! There were so many tears of joy and it was so magical - Jared executed everything flawlessly, and even had photographers there to capture the fairytale proposal.
