Erika & Richard
Our Story
Richard and Erika met in 2018 in Austin, TX at their college alumni group. Richard was already an established member of the board having lived in Austin for a few years, while Erika had just moved to Austin and was looking to make some friends. She signed up to be an event planner with the Austin UCF Alumni group. However the board didn't know who she was at the time, so they paired her with Richard to be Events Co-chairs. The two met up once to plan events (although Richard didn't even bring a pen and paper to write anything down with). They talked about plans for the club for approximately 20 minutes until the meeting started to feel more like a date and they stayed for hours getting to know each other. The rest is history! (And they planned some pretty great events together for the next few years.)
