What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding ceremony & reception is Garden Party formal. For ladies this means a bright floor length or midi length dress, and for gentlemen this should mean a tuxedo or suit and tie. Please, no jeans, caps or sneakers. Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held outdoors in the gardens. The reception space has a covered pavilion, and we have rented tents in case of rain.

What is the weather like this time of year in Austin?

Answer

The weather in Texas is sometimes unpredictable, but April and May are usually our prettiest months - you can expect nice temperatures, with highs usually ranging in the mid-70's to mid-80's and lows in the mid-60's to mid-70's. April is also one of the city's least rainy months. Keep in mind the ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, so make sure to check your weather app before packing!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive about 15-20 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to ensure seating and to make sure everyone is on time. Please note that security will not let you into the venue after 5:15pm.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Bring your party shoes, but leave the littles at home! Our wedding ceremony and reception has been planned as a child-free event.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures onto their social media channels. Our only request is that the ceremony be a no-phone zone. Be sure to tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #HelloCostello so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free food options?

Answer

With the bride being gluten free, we know a thing or two about special diets. We will of course have plenty of options for you if you have an allergy or need to request a special diet. Please inform us of your dietary requirements when you are RSVP'ing.

Can I bring a date or extra family member?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know when your Invitation and RSVP card arrive.

Do you have a hotel block for guests?

Answer

We have set up a room block at the Embassy Suites on Congress Ave. Please see the Travel Info page for more information on how to book your room.
