Little Italy
One of our favorite neighborhoods in the city. Little Italy is a chic, pedestrian-friendly neighborhood, packed with trendy cocktail bars, brewpubs and restaurants with bustling patios.
Balboa Park
Beautiful architecture and a great place to take a stroll! Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre historic urban cultural park in San Diego, California, United States. In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens, and walking paths, it contains museums, several theaters, and the world-famous San Diego Zoo.
Pacific Beach
Briana moved from Boston to the San Diego neighborhood of Pacific Beach in 2012 and never left during her 8 years of living in the sunny city. Pacific Beach is a relaxed neighborhood by the beach, popular with sunbathers and surfers. Trendy hotel bars and casual cafes line the boardwalk, while Mission Boulevard and the surrounding streets are dotted with women’s clothing boutiques, yoga studios and casual drinking spots that draw a young, bar-hopping crowd. Inland, the grassy slope of Kate Sessions Park has sweeping views of the city and San Diego Bay.
Sunset Cliffs
The area is named for the sheer cliffs which border the ocean with breathtaking views - a must see!
La Jolla Cove
Another gorgeous view! La Jolla Cove is a small, picturesque cove and beach that is surrounded by cliffs in La Jolla, San Diego, California. If you're lucky (which most people usually are) you can spot families of seals resting on the rocks!
Coasterra
Beautiful harbor views and delicious upscale Mexican food and drinks! Briana's favorite must have drink is the Coconut Margarita - yum!
George's at the Cove
Make sure to sit on the roof top for a beautiful view of the ocean! The tacos are delicious!
Coronado Island
Be sure to enjoy the view from the 2 mile long bridge that connects San Diego to the bay island. Coronado is home to an iconic Victorian hotel - Hotel del, plus some of SD's best beaches.
San Diego Zoo
The San Diego Zoo is a zoo in Balboa Park, San Diego, California, housing over 12,000 animals of more than 650 species and subspecies
BO-beau kitchen + bar
French comfort food you can't pass up. Be sure to order their famous Brussel sprouts to start - yum! This is one of Stuart and Briana's favorite restaurants in the city, which says a lot because their are so many amazing restaurants to choose from.
Torrey Pines
A gorgeous 1 hour hike overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Gaslamp Quarter
The Gaslamp Quarter is a lively downtown neighborhood, known for its nightlife. Clubs, dive bars, shops and cocktail lounges.
