The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be at Veterans Terrace in Burlington, WI. Every space at the venue is wheelchair accessible.
This is a beautiful venue so the dress code is semi-formal to formal attire. Absolutely no denim please. The outdoor ceremony will take place on bricks/concrete so no need to worry about walking through any grass in stilettos. Our colors are a variety of champagne, taupe, red/orange, ivory, brown, and green shades. No need to stay away from these colors - they're perfect for fall! Just sharing as an FYI.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Please plan to arrive at Veteran's Terrace at 4 pm so you have ample time for hellos and to find a seat. There is a large covered outdoor space if its raining or snowing.
The venue has almost 150 spots in their parking lot. There is also a parking deck about a block away. Parking deck is located at 224 E Washington St, Burlington, WI 53105. We encourage anyone that will be drinking, to take an Uber/Lyft and to leave your car parked overnight in either the parking structure or at the venue. If your car is left at the venue, please pick it up no later than 10 am on Saturday, 11/02. There is another wedding that day so please be prompt with your pick-up.
The ceremony will be outdoors no matter the weather. We are assuming cold temps so please bring a coat. If it is raining or heavily snowing, the ceremony will still be outside, but we will be under a covered space. Cocktail hour will begin inside immediately following the ceremony.
Our photographers will be hard at work, so please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
Formal wedding invitations have been sent out, and we request that you RSVP no later than September 20th; however, my advice is to take care of it right when you get the invite so you don't forget :)
The invitation is addressed to those invited. If you do not have "& guest" on your invite/RSVP list, we selfishly want you all to ourselves for the evening.
We are only inviting a select amount of kids to attend - those in the wedding party and those that have to travel to attend. If your child's name is not on the RSVP list, of course we still love them, but enjoy your parents night out!
During cocktail hour, we will be serving a variety of hors d'oeuvres. For dinner, we will be having a buffet with chicken florentine, a sirloin carving station, and an assortment of side dishes. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let the bride or groom know.
We have open bar for beer, wine, & soda throughout the whole evening. Anything else, can be purchased with cash or card. There is an ATM onsite if needed. Please take care of our bartenders :)
