Question

Do I need to get a passport?

Answer

U.S. citizens are required to present a valid U.S. passport when traveling to Jamaica. We suggest that you obtain your passport as soon as possible due to a current backlog of passport applications within the state department.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

The wedding venue is on site at Moon Palace. When flying into MBJ (Sangster International Airport), and with 4 nights booked, Moon Palace will offer free transportation to the resort and back to the airport. If you opt to book less than 4 nights, there is a fee for transportation. If you decide to stay at another resort, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation to the wedding venue.

Question

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes, we have a room block for guest with Moon Palace Jamaica only.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

This is a family friendly resort, so you are allowed to bring your children on the trip. However, we are still working out the kinks and children will not be allowed at the ceremony. This may change as we continue to solidify the details.

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. Please be sure to arrive by 3:45pm.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

We respectfully request that guests do not take pictures during the ceremony. We want our guests to be fully present with us during this beautiful moment. A professional photographer will be there to take pictures. We will be sure to share those photos with you. We encourage you to take as many pictures as you want during the cocktail hour and reception. Please use our hashtag when posting them on social media!

Question

What is the dress code?

Question

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors. However, we are still working on the final details.
