Carmalina and Tehja met in a training class at DirecTV back in 2009. The way their friendship was, you would've thought they knew each other their whole lives. In fact, Cedric thought they were childhood friends until Tehja told him they had only been friends a year prior to the couple meeting. Either way, the ladies met and their friendship took off from there. Inseparable in so many ways, Cedric dedicated most of his time trying to be the best father figure and role model. Typical days consisted of the two hanging out at the park, watching movies, playing video games, doing school work together or talking smack during basketball. Jordan is Cedric's bestfriend. They met at work and went from friends to brothers. Their birthdays are literally one day apart so great minds think alike. And when Cedric wasn't thinking so straight Damyon was always there to help sort things out. Both grew up in the heart of LA, knowing the same people, and doing the same things. Whether it was hanging in the streets, playing basketball, working out or turning up in Hollywood, these two were always together. They were partners in crime all the time. Manner is a full time dad and proud grandfather. Though Tehja has always been a momma's girl, their relationship still is one that Tehja will always hold close to her heart. Manner was there for every moment in Tehja's life that truly mattered to her and still is. He was also the first person to congratulate Tehja when he found out she was pregnant with her first child. Contrary to what Tehja thought, he asked, "Is this what you want and what he wants" and when Tehja responded, Yes! He said, then "CONGRATULATIONS." He has always emphasized to Tehja the importance of conducting herself like a lady, and not making a bad name for herself. After a few failed relationships, Cedric was the first guy Tehja brought home to meet dad. With all Manner's good deeds, Cedric has some big shoes to fill.

Brenna is the mother of the bride. She has been married to Tehja's father for 32 years and together since age 16. She is classy, sophisticated, and someone who Tehja has always looked up to. Tehja is Brenna's FAVORITE daughter, though she is really her only daughter. Tehja and her mother share a unique mother-daughter relationship. They talk daily and about everything. They spend quality time regularly even if its for a few moments at a family function or just because. Brenna has always been a supportive mother, friend and confidant and has accepted Cedric as her future son in law. She has been a part of their journey and will continue to be as they move forward as husband and wife.

Who would of known 3 yrs after the couple had their first child together, another little blessing would be on the way, Rylee Noelle Solomon. Full of personality just like her sister, Rylee can light up any room with that innocent face and cute little smile. So, infectious, sweet and warm, she steals your heart every time.
