Minneapolis Institute of Art
The museum is free to attend, except the special exhibit. It is also VERY close to the wedding venue, so this might be a lovely way to spend a few hours before the ceremony.
Minnesota Zoo
We've spent a lot of lovely hours at the zoo. In 2022, there were 3 Amur Tiger cubs; hopefully there will be more amazing zoo babies in 2023!!
Urban Growler Brewing Company
Urban Growler is the first woman-owned & first lesbian-owned (two birds with one stone!) microbrewery in Minnesota. They are locally known for a really lovely variety of offerings, including their crowdpleaser, CowBell Cream Ale.
Owamni by The Sioux Chef
We LOVE Owamni! If you're interesting in going there for lunch or dinner, we recommend making a reservation as soon as you can (i.e. when you RSVP). Their cuisine doesn't use colonial ingredients like wheat flour, dairy, or refined sugar, and instead exclusively highlights ancestral Dakota Sioux flavors and ingredients.
