The best coffee in Los Angeles and multiple locations. The Venice location is right by the Venice sign and the Venice boardwalk. They are known for their Spanish Latte, but you can also try something on the their secret menu. Flip over the black and white photo by where you order.
If you are heading to the Venice/Santa Monica area of California, there is one thing we love doing! Rent or bring bicycles and bike to the Santa Monica and Venice Beach Bike Paths. Riding your bicycle along the Pacific coast is so fun! One of the best ways to see and experience the world-famous Venice Beach is biking on the Venice Beach Bike Path. The Venice Beach part of the bike path starts at about Navy Street on the North end and runs through to the Venice Pier at Washington Blvd.
Playa del Rey is a great uncrowded beach with everything from bike riding to basketball. Playa del Rey is one of the most appealing beaches if you want to stay away from the crowds. The white sand beach with small dunes allows nice views of the Marina del Rey harbor. The bike path starts up again after the street detour between Washington Blvd. and Fiji Way. If you are a volleyball player you'll be glad to know that there are plenty of courts available even on the weekends. There is a beautiful grass park with a lagoon and playground equipment for the kids. Dogs are allowed on leash in the park. There are basketball courts and a baseball diamond.
Looking to get your fitness on? Look no further than DEUCE Gym. It's across the street from Whole Foods on Lincoln & Rose in Venice. We know a guy who might be able to get you a drop in. ;).
If you want a fun bar to go to that is outdoors with lots of games, Brennan's is one of our favorite spots.
Delicious burger spot for lunch! Cheeseburger for $3.95 or a double for $6.95! Are you kidding me?! They have two spots. One on Rose and one on the Venice Boardwalk. They also have an unreal tri-tip breakfast burrito on the weekends!
Our favorite tacos. It's right by the airport. Excellent Margaritas. Their house tequila is phenomenal as it is their own brand. For Happy Hour (Mon-Sat 4-7pm) you can get 4 tacos for $5.
Hatchet Hall is a Southern-leaning small plates restaurant in Culver City where you’ll actually leave full. Simple food made well and cooked over fire. Great cocktails. Cornbread is a MUST. Order it when you order your drinks because it takes 30 minutes to make.
The Little Yellow House in Venice. It was built in 1908 and it used to be the train conductors home. It's located off Abbot Kinney on Main Street. It's an Italian restaurant with Michelin starred & James Beard recipient, Chef Antonio Mure at the helm. The red beet pasta is an ABSOLUTE MUST!
One of our favorite Italian restaruants in LA! Chef Antonia Lofaso is a genius. Our must haves are Ricotta Crostini and the Rigatoni! You can't go wrong here. The cocktails and food are second to none!
If you are a pizza lover and want to drink amazing wine, check out this cute spot on Abbot Kinney! It's right across the street from our other favorite, Scopa Italian Roots!
If you are a sushi lover, this is a spot we frequent to a lot. Big portions for a reasonable price and it's delicious.
An Ashley Kenyon favorite. Maybe THEE favorite. A beautiful restaurant and as Ashley would say, "The ribs are to die for!"
