They met at Ocean Speedway at a dirt track race in 2014. Brandon is an avid racing fan and Brandy was there to watch her cousins race. Brandon sat in the row behind Brandy and eventually gathered the confidence (with help from one of his best buds and future groomsman, Dave) to start a conversation. The rest is history.

Racing continues to play a big part in their story to this day. They travel all over and take a yearly trip in July to Sonoma Raceway for the drag races. Racing is a family affair and they have met many great friends along the way.

After almost a year of dating, Brandon turned 21! Brandy was invited to celebrate at the Magic Castle which plays an important history in the Tansey family. Here, Brandy got a glimpse of what a wonderful family Brandon comes from. Upon returning from this trip, Brandon and Brandy "made it official" and started introducing each other as boyfriend and girlfriend. This picture was taken before dinner with a view overlooking Los Angeles city scape.

Brandon and Brandy share a passion for camping. They started with tent camping. This became more and more sophisticated; they even had a mobile shower which was made from a small tent and a bug sprayer with an attached hose. They eventually upgraded to a travel trailer which they take camping several times a year.

Here they were visiting Brandon's brother, Chris, for 4th of July. At the time, Brandon worked at Target and Brandy was a nurse assistant. Together, they have set a plan for their future and supported each other to reach those goals. One of the hardest times in their journey was when Brandy went to nursing school. Brandon stayed up for long hours while she studied and supported her without fail. Now, Brandy is a registered nurse working at a local jail and hospital and Brandon works for the city of Salinas driving machinery and doing what he loves.

November, 2020 - the day they got engaged! Brandon proposed at a joint birthday party for Brandy and her sister, Sherri.
