Our first camping trip was at Shenandoah! It was Tamara's first camping trip ever and David's chance to share a favorite pastime. It's about a 40 minute drive from Wollam Gardens.

Shenandoah National Park, Front Royal Entrance Station

We visited Leesburg while looking for wedding venues. It's a lovely town for a walk! We recommend Birch Tree Books, Cowbell Kitchen for breakfast, King Street Coffee for a coffee break and have heard good things about Buford's Biscuits.

DC is only about an hour from Jeffersonton and there are a ton of free museums and activities.
