Location, location, location! We met at a networking event in 2018 where we discovered our highest and best use after realizing that we were underwriting a deal together at our respective real estate firms. After a summer of due diligence, we closed escrow and made it official.

After attending the most dreamy wedding in Lake Como, we visited Napoli and the famous island of Capri. Louis hid the ring during the first week of the trip, but secured the goods and surprised Taline the first night in Capri on the balcony of our hotel room. She didn't quite say "Yes", but she certainly implied it with her tears of joy. We celebrated with people vacationing from around the world and nearly met LeBron James that same night! Fortunately, we received a toast from P. Diddy the following night at dinner to properly begin the engagement.
