Minerals Hotel and Resort
If you're not looking to drive, stay at the resort! There are plenty of activities for those of you staying in our room block. There are 3 pools, a splash pad, basketball court, rock wall, and gym. There is also a schedule of weekly activities such as goat yoga, axe throwing, and skeet shooting. There's fun for the whole family! Some of the activities may require an additional fee or located at the sister resort Crystal Springs.
Warwick, NY
Warwick is a quaint town just over the border into New York, with a few shops and restaurants.
Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery
Large outdoor area to enjoy various ciders and wines.
Warwick Drive-In Theater
One of the last remaining drive-in theatres in the area, I have been here several times and it is a fun experience! They have a 3 screens with double features every night. Check their website for shows and times.
Mountain Creek Water Park
Right next to the hotel, Mountain Creek turns their ski slopes into a waterpark. They have lots of slides, lazy rivers, and other attractions for the whole family.
Mountain Creek Zip Tours
Chris and I did this last summer and had the best time! You go as a group and take the gondola up to the top. There are 4 one minute ziplines over different lakes around the mountain. Make sure to book tickets in advance!
Appalachian Trail
The famous Appalachian Trail is only 2 miles away from the hotel. There are easier flat hikes with a boardwalk, or you can climb up the mountain on the "Stairway to Heaven". It's beautiful!
High Point State Park
This beautiful park features a monument at the tallest point in New Jersey! You can drive to the top and walk around. It is easily accessible and has great views!
