Thank You

Welcome to our wedding website! We would like to take a moment to thank our friends and family for being on this journey with us. We are blessed to have so many people in our lives who show us love and support daily. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!

Our Story

#takingtheRains

Cheyenne and Michael have known each other a lot longer than people might realize. They initially met at a friend's house when they were 10 & 12. Michael quickly became Cheyenne's childhood crush. They ended up going to the same middle school and high school. And would occasionally bump into each other in the hallways. After graduation, Michael went off to play college baseball in Houston. When Cheyenne graduated, she went to college in West Texas. During this time, Cheyenne and her friend Anna had gone to a music festival. Michael had seen the photos and started asking Anna about Cheyenne. That's when Cheyenne added Michael on Facebook and messaged him first. With Michael on the road starting his baseball career and Cheyenne at school, it would be months before they actually saw each other in person. When they finally did see each other in person, Cheyenne was in the hospital. Michael (back home in Round Rock after his season) decided that he would jump in the car and drive 3 hours to be with her. He made the drive in 2 hours and walked in the hospital room to surprise her. Now, almost 10 years later they have grown into the couple you see today. Cheyenne and Michael already have so many stories and memories together. They truly are best friends and each other's biggest supporters. Michael proposed to Cheyenne on March 12, 2022. Just two days before he left for spring training, he told Cheyenne that they were driving back to Round Rock to meet up with their families for a going away lunch. When they got into Round Rock, Michael said that they were meeting up with his sister at the Round Rock (yes there is an actual rock that is round, look it up). Once there, they walked down to the creek and Cheyenne noticed the red rose petals laying out. Michael made a beautiful speech and got down on one knee and proposed. After, they met up with their families at Chuys for celebratory queso and margaritas. It was an amazing day- just as their wedding day will be. Cheers to future Mr. & Mrs. Rains!
