How do I get to Marrara’s Mountain Lodge?

From State College/ Port Matilda: Go through the traffic light in Port Matilda on Rt. 220 South 4.3 miles Turn right on Fowler Hollow, go 3.1 miles Turn Left on Mountain Road, go 1.2 miles and the lodge is on your left. From Philipsburg: Take Rt. 350 from traffic light in sandy ridge, 5.4 miles Turn left on Mountain Road, go 3 miles, The Lodge is on your right From Altoona/Tyrone: Take Rt 350 from traffic light at Bald Eagle intersection toward sandy ridge, 2 miles Turn right on Mountain Road, go 3 miles. Lodge is on your right

What's the dress code?

Answer

Semiformal/ dressy casual Opt for light colors and fabrics for a daytime event. Try knee (ish) length dress or a dressy skirt and top, or jumpsuit. An elegant pantsuit is also appropriate. Pair with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats. The ceremony is being held outdoors and you'll be walking across a lawn, avoid traditional heels that will likely get stuck in the grass. Men should wear a dress shirt and slacks with the option to wear a tie. "Semiformal gives you flexibility on comfort, but be sure not to dress too casual." There will be outdoor activities so bring a change of clothes if you’d like to have fun outside!

Is this location handicap accessible?

Yes! Both the Lodge and Gazebo are both handicap accessible.

Can I bring a plus one or my child?

Answer

If your plus one/child is included in the Invitation, yes. We respectfully ask that Individuals not included in your digital invite stay home to help us limit the guest list.

We are not requiring anyone wear masks, however if you feel more comfortable wearing one you are. completely welcome to!

Is the wedding indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather permitting, the wedding will be outdoors. If bad weather we will move inside.

I can't attend, will there be a recording?

Answer

We will try to zoom the ceremony, if the internet connection is good. There will definitely be a recording and it will be posted to a platform to be decided on soon.
