One of the first things Josh told me, when we started getting more serious in our relationship, is that if we get married Jim Crockett will be our officiant. Of course I was on board, but the day I met Pastor Crockett confirmed just how much God was IN our relationship! We quickly discovered that my Grandaddy, Preson Phillips, was Pastor Crockett’s seminary professor. Could the world be any smaller?! We are so blessed that Pastor said yes to being a part of our big day. We are thoroughly enjoying his leadership and mentorship through marriage counseling. Being able to talk through the deep stuff with the Biblical guidance of Pastor Crockett and his wife is such a blessing!

My sister! The woman who has leaned in 100% to help me through these last 34 years of life! Our mother always told us to be nice to each other, because one day that’s all we will have. Although that’s not fully true yet, and hopefully not for a long time, I completely understand the truth behind her words. I would not have made it through the last 4 years without my sister! She is such a strong woman and cares deeply for those around her!
