We Eloped! Please join us for our Reception!

Liz and Suzette got engaged in December of 2018 in Prescott, Arizona. During their first year of engagement, they had spoken about having a destination wedding. They were moving towards this for a few reasons. Liz loves the beach and had a dream of being married in the sand, and also they thought a vacation with both families and friends would be amazing. Toward the end of 2019, they started looking at a 04/03/2021 date and a year ahead save the date... then the COVID-19 pandemic happened. By mid-2019 they began to realize that a destination wedding would be very far out and not something many people would be willing to consider. There were just too many unknowns. They decided to make both dreams happen, get married on a sandy beach and have a big vacation with family! Just Liz, Suzette and Giovanni headed to the sandy beaches of California and the two eloped!

Liz and Suzette were set up by Liz's roommate back in time... the story goes, that Suzette was at Charlie's in Central Phoenix on one mid-October evening. She may or may not have tripped down the step on the back patio. Regardless, two young men met Suzette that fateful night, catching her as she fell down that step. One of those young men was a roommate of Liz's at the time and was persistent to say the least. He insisted that Liz was perfect for her... or Suzette was perfect for Liz. And so the story began.
