Need a little pick me up to dance the night away? Grab a delicious pour over coffee right down the street from the wedding venue. Paige personally thinks this is the best coffee in Milwaukee.
One of our favorite neighborhood bars! Small but cozy, we love coming to Charles E. Fromage for Tuesday night trivia or just to share a bottle of wine on their rooftop bar. Excellent wine, local beers, and fun cocktails! We were honored to take our engagement photos here as well.
Need to get out of the city? Visit one of our favorite parks in South Milwaukee! Located on Lake Michigan, Seven Bridges offers both a nature walk through a lush forest and rocky beach access. There are actually more than seven bridges in this easy to navigate park and you could easily spend between 30 minutes to hours taking in all the different views. Some trails are accessible but to access the lake, you will have to take a lovely walk down stone steps and over wooden bridges. Paige loves to sit and search for sea glass while Liam tires to beat his rock skipping record.
Check out the Milwaukee Public Market in the Historic Third Ward. Full of tasty treats and yummy food, this is a fun spot to stop for lunch after shopping in the Historic Third Ward. The candy shop inside was featured in the movie, Bridesmaids, and Liam can never resist getting a piece of chocolate here.
Check out the diverse animals at the Milwaukee Co. Zoo! After Paige moved to Milwaukee, Liam created a birthday scavenger hunt that included running around the zoo to find clues! You can't go wrong with any of the exhibits but the otters here are particularly playful.
Located in Milwaukee's Brewer Hill District, have a beer by the river and enjoy the best cheese curds in town! Take a tour and learn about the beer making process, or buy a six-pack and just enjoy the fruits of the labor. Paige and Liam come to Lakefront every month to enjoy their delicious beers and attend Drag Queen Bingo. If you walk across the pedestrian bridge, you'll find a swing park that's fun for all ages.
3rd Street Market Hall truly has it all. A variety of food vendors makes sure that there's something for everyone and the bar in the center is a perfect place to grab a drink and watch the Brewers. If you're lucky, you might run into one of the Bucks players here too! This venue also offers a play area for kiddos, a selfie museum, Topgolf Swing Suite, and games including shuffleboard, cornhole, Nintendo, and more! There are often Milwaukee area musicians playing so it's also a great place to test out your dance moves.
