***APRIL 2025 UPDATE: Jacqueline relapsed :( the wedding celebration has been officially CANCELLED.*** ***February 2025 update: JACQUELINE IS IN REMISSION!!!! We are moving forward with our wedding celebration October 12, 2025. This website is now fully up to date. We can't wait to celebrate with you all soon!!!!!*** Now onto the story... It all began in a land of sunshine and oranges, where Jacqueline entered the world in the sunny state of Florida. Meanwhile, tucked away in the cozy corners of New Hampshire, Sunday greeted the squirrels and white-tailed deer with a hearty "Live free or die" spirit. Before they knew it, Jacqueline was armed with a stethoscope and a knack for catching newborns, and found herself elbow-deep in the chaos of labor and delivery as an OBGYN resident in Maryland. Sunday, also a woman in STEM, was busy molding young minds amidst the palm trees and pineapples of Hawaii, teaching robotics like a boss (aka like a college graduate with a history degree). You might think their paths crossed through some sophisticated dating app algorithm set to a mind-boggling 4,847-mile radius (exact distance from Maryland to Oahu, in case you were wondering), but you would be wrong. Reality was far simpler and far more ridiculous. Picture this: a room decked out in more uncouth male-themed decor than one could shake a stick at. Not exactly the stuff rom-coms are made of, but hey, life's a comedy, not a fairy tale, and love has a way of sneaking up on you when you least expect it. It's true, it all started during a Seattle bachelorette bash for their gal pal Serena, who, fun fact, would eventually become the one to officiate their wedding! Fast forward a few weeks, and cue the fluttering butterflies. These two found themselves head over heels, despite the odds and the questionable decor choices. And so began their epic saga of "U-haul long distance," a lesbian term adapted by the two women who mastered the art of seeing each other Every. Single. Month. For a year. Like I said, ridiculous. Month after month, they braved the skies, drained their bank accounts, and racked up enough frequent flyer miles to circle the globe twice. Love knows no distance, people. So, after all those airport reunions and tearful goodbyes, Sunday bid aloha to Hawaii's white sands and blue waters, trading them for the suburban dreamland of fenced-in yards and conveniently located grocery stores. They would both agree that this has been the best chapter yet. Sunday plans to keep flying to wherever Jacqueline is, and that algorithm is enough for them.
