Question

What are the COVID safety measures?

Answer

We want to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. Since the ceremony is indoors, masks will be required for all guests. If you have been fully vaccinated against COVID19, masking is optional at the outdoor reception. For the safety of those who cannot be vaccinated, we ask those who have not been vaccinated to wear masks as much as possible at the reception as well. Please be respectful of our wishes, as well as those around you. We love you all and this event would not be the same without you, vaccinated or not.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We're thinking hip, casual, & fun. Comfortable or glam (or both), we won't complain! The reception will be in an outdoor space that can get a little chilly at night — we recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is free, open parking at the ceremony! However, parking in downtown Richmond for the reception (though possible with a little perseverance) is typically a nightmare. Street parking is available for a small fee and there are several parking decks close to Linden Row. Let's save the environments (& our pockets) and choose carpooling! It's also important to note that the ceremony and reception are about 20 minutes apart!

Question

Whats the bar situation?

Answer

Each guest will have two drinks on us! Tickets can be found at your reception place setting and can be redeemed at the bar for just about anything -- wine, beer, mixed drinks, or soft drinks. If you're not drinking and would like to donate your tickets, feel free to redistribute to old or new friends. After you've used up your drink tickets, the bar converts to a cash bar so we can keep the party going!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are trying to keep our wedding as small & intimate as possible. If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love your littles and they are welcome to attend the ceremony. We kindly request that the reception is enjoyed in the company of adults only. We can’t wait to have a relaxing and fun evening with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Though parking is free at Roslyn, it would be best to aim for arriving about 15-30 minutes before the ceremony!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please contact the bride or groom before Oct 7th if you need a food accommodation. Also, we will have vegetarian options at the reception!

Question

Didn’t you already get married???

Answer

Yep! On November 8th, 2020, we bound ourselves in life together in a ceremony with a small group of family & friends. COVID threw out all wedding rules though, so we will be renewing our vows & partying it up with ALL of our people this time around! Can’t wait!!

For all the days along the way
