Question

Do I need to book tickets for Glacier National Park entry?

Answer

Yes, you'll need 2 tickets: 1: Glacier National Park pass for $35. These are good for 7 days. You can buy these any time—no need to purchase far in advance. Purchase here: https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/74280 2: A separate vehicle registration ticket for $2. These are good for 3 days. Half of tickets become available 120 days in advance, so the advance tickets for late August are already sold out, BUT the other half become available the day before the entry date. So if you haven't gotten yours yet, be sure to log in right at 8 am mountain time the day before you want to enter the park. If you only plan to spend 1 day in the park, you could try purchasing 2-3 days in advance in case you don't get a ticket on your first try (since they can be used for 3 days). Demand will exceed supply, don't forget this! More information can be found here: https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/gtsrticketedentry.htm

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

We hope that everyone feels reassured that the all wedding events, including the welcome dinner, ceremony, and reception, will take place entirely outdoors. If you do not feel safe coming to the wedding, we completely understand. Health and safety is always our first priority!

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Due to limited space at the venue, we are only able to invite the kids of family and the wedding party. However, if you are not able to come without bringing your kids, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate - we would rather have you bring them than miss the wedding!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Immediate family and the bridal party will be staying at the wedding camp resort. For everyone else, please see the room block options under the "Travel" tab - all hotels are within a 40 minute drive of the resort. We will run shuttles to the hotels with the room blocks on Saturday. If you're feeling adventurous, we definitely encourage you to check out the many exciting lodging options, from yurt villages to historic lodges to camp grounds. GNP is a very popular destination - the sooner you can book lodging, the better. Please let us know if you need help!

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

YES. We recommend booking earlier rather than later due to the national rental car shortage. Please see car rental options under the "Travel" tab and let us know if you are having trouble finding a vehicle.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” then yes. Please let us know if you will be bringing a date when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly - we can't wait to meet them!
