FESTIVE COCKTAIL Guidance for Festive Cocktail: No jeans or costumes - other than that, wear whatever makes you feel fancy/like a rockstar! Patterned blazer? Go for it! Sequin jumpsuit? Stunning! Florals for summer? Groundbreaking! Head to toe mohair? Sounds toasty, but you do you (and fair warning the venue is air conditioned, but NYC weather in August has been unfavorably compared to hot soup). Happy Dressing - We Can't Wait To See You!
We will keep you updated on the ever-changing COVID protocols, but for now, we anticipate that all events will require either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within the last 72 hours in order to attend. Please bring a mask to all events- this may change, but some of the venues may require you to wear a mask when not seated or in a private event space.
If your invitation says "and guest" - yes!
Tiny humans in formal wear stealing our thunder? WE THINK NOT* *We love your kids, but the wedding events this weekend will be adults only - thanks so much!
Probably if you prefer not to use cabs/ride-shares. Especially, if you plan on venturing around NYC, you may find one useful. The 7-day unlimited is likely not worth the money and you are better off putting $10-$20 on a card to get around. Metrocards can be purchased from most stations, some entrances are smaller than others and may not have a machine. If you don't see an obvious looking kiosk, go back outside and enter from a different corner. Many of the stations are also now using OMNY, which allows you to use a contactless card or smart device to make fare payments (https://omny.info/).
JFK will work best! LGA second best. EWR is not recommended due to the high cost of getting to the venue area and travel time.
Probably not. It can be tricky to drive and park in the city. Taking transit (subway/bus) and walking are the most cost-efficient means of travel and will get you almost anywhere you need to go (both for the wedding and for exploring the city). Lyft and other rideshare options are generally abundant, should you wish to take a car.
