We are so excited to celebrate with you!

Of no surprise to anyone that knows us, we met over some beers at what used to be Gamekeepers Bar in Lincoln Park. We were a matchmaking success by Emily's friend from Marquette and Steve's coworker at Lurie's Children's Hospital, Kim. Kim gave Emily every single detail about Steve. Steve got absolutely no information about Emily (not even her name, stay tuned for a story on that). Emily was out with friends watching the Bears game where Kim brought some coworkers (including Steve) along to join after getting off work. And clearly the set up worked well :) Bonus story. On our first date, Steve thought Emily's name was Emma since that is what all her friends called her at Gamekeepers when we met (nickname from a softball league). Steve cooked Emily dinner at his apartment for the first date and found out Emily's real name when she introduced herself to the neighbor while sitting on the patio.
