Morgan-Monroe State Forest

We love to hike here. We still haven't hiked all the trails but we have so much time ahead of us! If you choose to check it out, make sure you download maps before entering the forestry.

Turkey Run State Park

We love visiting the state parks and we have recently started visiting nature preserves and sanctuaries. We also love to kayak and canoe. I planned a trip for Steven's 28th birthday and we worked our way down Sugar Creek. It was a pretty ( with a small shower) fifteen mile trip.

Nashville

We had a really great time here in 2018 with Steven's dad and family. Nashville is a cute, cozy boutique town. Brown County State Park is right around the corner and is a beautiful place to hike.

Big Woods Pizza

This place is a great family restaurant. It’s close to Brown County State Park and there are many shops in the area to check out.

Paragon Liquor Store

This is a unique, small town liquor store and it may be on your way to our event. Dawn brings in many different bourbons and whisky. She also has a nice selection of wine and tequila. This is definitely a place you can find a nice bottle for a gift or yourself. Note: Please do not bring outside liquor into the venue premises. There will be a fine.
