Question

What is the booking procedure?

Answer

We work with a travel specialist, Liz Moore Weddings, for this wedding reservation and offer a special group rate for our wedding guests to stay in the Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa. All reservations must be booked with our travel specialist with Liz Moore Weddings no later than February 29, 2024. There is a minimum 3 night stay when booking your reservation. A minimum non-refundable deposit of $200 per person is due no later than February 29th, 2024, in order to secure your room and roundtrip airport transportation. Subject to availability at the time of booking after this date. Final balance is due by March 14th, 2024. LIZ MOORE WEDDINGS BOOKING PROCEDURE: 1. Upon completion of the Booking Request Form (in the “Travel” Section of this wedding website), Renee will manually create your reservation and apply your deposit. Please allow up to 5 business days after completion of this form for Renee to finalize your reservation. 2. You will receive the itinerary and invoice upon finalization of your reservation. 3. You can choose to make monthly payments or you can choose to pay the remainder of the reservation on the final payment date. If you choose to make monthly payments please reach out to Renee at renee@lizmooreweddings.com. 4. One month prior to departure, Renee will send an email asking you to verify your flight information (even if you already given this information please make sure to resend it so Renee has the most up to date flight information). 5. One-two weeks prior to departure Renee will send you an email with your itinerary and vital travel information. Please note: Renee is always available to help answer any questions via the phone or email but all booking procedures must go through email so Renee has it documented.

How do I arrange shuttle transportation from/to the airport?

Answer

We have arranged shuttle service to take you directly to the resort when you land at the airport. Fill out the travel flight information form in the “Shuttle Information” in the “Travel” section in this wedding website.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

Yes! An adult plus-one is welcome. We have indicated that option in RSVP section.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

The wedding festivities last for three days and it will be adult-only event. We understand it’s tough since we also want our Chow Chow son Fitzgerald in the wedding. But let’s party with Teenage Dream playing without worrying about kids in the room.

What is the itinerary for the three days?

Can I stay more than three nights?

Answer

Yes we offer special group rates for up to 6 nights. In fact, you get better rates if you stay longer than 3 nights.

What is the dress code?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony and reception on July 20th, 2024, we suggest cocktail attires and show your tropical glam! Encourage bright colors for the ladies (no white of course), and linen suits for the gentlemen (jacket optional).

How is the weather in Tulum?

Answer

You can expect average daily temperatures of 84-89°F (29-31°C) while visiting Tulum in July. When the sun goes down, the temperatures in Tulum drop, but not by much. Nighttime temperatures in Tulum average about 78-82°F (25-27°C), though the humidity also usually isn't as bad as in the day.
