No, you do not need to spend the night/weekend on Block Island. We understand if you cannot stay over, but would still love for you to come out for the day to celebrate with us. Please let us know if you need help figuring out day trip options on the ferry or plane.
We recommend taking your bike or a car on the ferry to help with getting around for the weekend. There are many fun activities in walking distance from town including the beach. There are many taxis on the island as well if you need a lift. There are also bike, moped and car rentals on island.
- Bring cash, while there are ATMs on the island there are higher fees. - There is only one gas station on the island we recommend filling up your car prior to taking the ferry. - There is only one grocery store, we recommend packing some snacks and food for the weekend.
From the ferry terminal The Spring House is 0.5 miles ~10 or less min walk (please note it is uphill). There are abundant taxis on Block Island if you prefer to get a ride. There is parking on location if you would like to drive your own car ~3 min drive from ferry terminal.
