It Is Happening!

Nearly 5 years ago... at work! To some, this may be a boring start to a love story...but for us...this is where our lives together began!

August 2nd, 2018....the day that changed everything. It was Stephanie's 28th birthday! But not just any birthday...that was the day Walter asked Stephanie to be his wife! Let's re-wind back to that morning, shall we? Stephanie woke up bright and early all anxious and excited (Duh it was her birthday of course) and Walter had been building the anticipation all week. He had the whole day planned but told Stephanie it was a surprise (shhhh it's a secret). Not being able to wait any longer, Stephanie convinced Walter to give her a hint. He told her to pack a bag... they were heading out-of-town! Slightly confused (but more excited than ever) Stephanie quickly packed and they hit the road. It wasn't until they arrived that Walter finally told Stephanie the plan. Walter had planned a short weekend get-a-way at a beautiful golf resort in Colorado Springs! P.S... if you didn't already know.. Stephanie and Walter love to play golf together... One relaxing afternoon by the pool and a round of golf later... Walter took Stephanie to the hotel restaurant for dinner. He took her out on the back terrace overlooking the golf course "wanting to see the view of the mountains". After a few moments, he pointed out something in the horizon. When Stephanie turned to look, Walter got down on one knee, told Stephanie to turn around, and PROPOSED! AND SHE SAID YES! LET'S POP THE CHAMPAGNE!
