Where to stay
Portland is divided into four quarters (NW, SW, NE, SE) and is separated east and west by the Willamette River. The west side will be closest to the festivities, but you can be anywhere in Portland in 15 minutes, so feel free to explore.
There are plenty of places to stay, from beautiful, historic hotels to new, modern boutiques and many economical choices. Airbnbs are also a great choice for larger groups.
If you don't plan to venture out of the city, you can easily get around by foot or Lyft. The airport is about 20 minutes from downtown.

If an AirBnb sounds best, there are many adorable homes available to rent around Portland. The wedding ceremony is in the NW warehouse district and most convenient to three neighborhoods: Slabtown and Nob Hill (centered around a great shopping district on NW 23rd Ave), The Pearl (think Whole Foods, restaurants, and Powell's Bookstore) and downtown.
